From the Kyro distillery in Finland, this whisky has been made with 100% malted Finnish whole-grain rye that is alder smoked in a 100 year old barn. It is double pot-distilled and matured in ex-bourbon, French oak and new American white oak barrels. The nose has notes of vanilla, caramel, pepper, sweet smoke and tar. The palate has notes of smoke, sweet rye bread, honey and oak.
